Yes, It’s a Year to Change Your Life. But on a Deeper Level, It’s a Year to Reclaim Your Life.

Watch program participants share their successes on this valuable, soul-searching journey with like-minded seekers.

Are You Yearning For a Major Change?

You’re not alone. There are so many others, just like you, who want to get in touch with what’s calling them. And, who want to move beyond the barriers that keep them stuck in a constant state of “unsatisfied.”

So, what kind of change are you looking for?

There are the more obvious types of change; for example, losing weight, getting healthy or quitting some bad habit. But, you may desire deeper, more foundational change—like wanting to feel authentically happier, more relaxed in your skin or safer in your world.

All of these areas are certainly worthy of reflection but not just a cursory reflection, like those we make at the beginning of every new year.

No, these are areas that require much more careful consideration. They require a focused and deliberate approach to discovering what you need and desire.

Enter: A Year to Change Your Life.

It’s a program designed for mature and motivated participants who want to deepen their understanding of themselves. If you desperately want to develop a plan for the future, one that will reveal and facilitate personal growth and development, this course is made specifically for you.

If You're Feeling Stuck...

The truth is, change has been living inside of you this whole time. You only need to take this one small step to invite huge transformation into your life.

What Makes A Year to Change Your Life So Powerful?

Based on years of experience as therapists, yoga teacher trainers, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Trainers and life coaches, Augusta and David Kantra designed A Year to Change Your Life to be an immersive experience of exploring your life story.

You’ll tease out the strengths, passions and dreams that have become a part of your unique personal signature and use this information to explore, create and develop new stories for the future.

Regardless of whether your life up to this point has been incredible or a disappointment, the next chapters have yet to be written. In those chapters, you are meant to play a leading role. After all, if you’re not the hero in your own life story, that’s got to change!

A “good life,” according to research, requires 5 elements:

  1. Pleasure
  2. Engagement
  3. Relationships
  4. Meaning
  5. Achievement

A Year to Change Your Life has been developed to help you discover all of these elements and put them together into a plan of action—all in a safe, connected environment with people like you who want the same thing.

Break down the walls of the current circumstances that fence you in and discover your passions and desires for the next chapter of your life. You’ll learn how to become the creator of your future self and develop a plan to uncover the change you’re seeking.

What It Is:

  • The application of experiences and inquiries designed to cultivate awareness of who you really are and who you desire to become—and the development of a plan to make it happen.
  • An opportunity to be part of a like-minded group of people who are likewise committed to the discovery process and meaningful life change.
  • Learning techniques and practices that open up your capacity to be more conscious and alive in your life and relationships.

What It Isn’t:

  • Although we’ll be talking openly and honestly with one another, this isn’t group therapy.
  • A series of lectures where you passively take in information.
  • A course where you will be graded.

Ask Yourself One Question:

What’s going on in your life that brings you here today?

A lack of vision? Missing passion? A feeling that there’s got to be more to life than this?

The beautiful reality is that it’s never too late to be who you want to be.

And it starts with one tiny step…

You Can Do This

If you’ve been yearning for that missing piece — that actionable piece — to kick-start the life you’ve always wanted…

Then, welcome.

Clear, achievable next steps to living a life you love are waiting for you.

Is Something Holding You Back
From Making 2021 Your Best Year Yet?

A year feels like too long of a commitment—and, how are you going to find the time?

A Year to Change Your Life was specifically created to fit your busy lifestyle:

  • You meet only 1 weekend a month for 12 months.
  • Coursework is assigned in digestible bites that allow you time and space for your other commitments.
  • Your success is paramount. You’ll be surrounded by carefully chosen, like-minded seekers who will faithfully support you every step of the way.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, like you can’t escape the time-pressure crunch, this is your chance to identify what truly matters to you. You’ll discover how to declutter your life to reclaim hours, days, even years that are rightfully yours.

But, how do you find or make time when you feel you truly have none to spare? The most effective way to do today what you intend to put off until tomorrow is to do it now.

Think you don’t have time for A Year to Change Your Life? That’s a sure sign you need it now.

You’re concerned about the cost.

A Year to Change Your Life is a big investment, so finding the right instructors is crucial to your overall experience.

You’ll be spending 108 hours with your course leaders. And in that time, you’ll experience a wide range of emotions that require just the right guidance and expertise to keep you moving forward.

With A Year to Change Your Life:

You’re getting 2 psychotherapists as your lead teachers.

David and Augusta Kantra are licensed therapists with over 50 years of combined clinical experience.

Creating new habits, identifying and reaching goals, living from the heart and igniting a transformation — these are dynamics in which they are deeply schooled and highly skilled. And while the course isn’t therapy, it is firmly rooted in the teachings of psychology and neuroscience.

You’re learning from instructors who’ve studied under world-renowned mindfulness teachers.

Both Dr. David and Augusta Kantra continue to study directly under distinguished mindfulness leaders like Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach and Philip Moffit.

The Kantras are incredibly grateful to be able to pass the torch of knowledge on to their own students.

You believe you’re hopeless, helpless and terminally unchangeable?

You’ve attempted to make changes in the past, but they’ve had a knack of not sticking. Granted, you’ve never undertaken transformation with this type of support before, but what if it still doesn’t work?

A Year to Change Your Life will be a mixed scene. Each one of you will be in a different stage of life improvement. Some will have been doing journey work for years, others will be brand new.

Yet, almost by magic, no one is bored, no one is left behind. Everyone excels.

But, it’s not magic. It’s intention:

  • Participants are carefully chosen for this program.
  • Coursework is deliberately curated.
  • You’ll be met wherever you are—mentally and spiritually.
  • Your course mates will be supporting you every step of the way, and your course mentors will be expertly guiding you toward your goals.

A Year to Change Your Life was created with the deepest intention of making you feel safe and successful. As your new self-belief system grows, so will your commitment to the program.

You’re not really sure. You’re just… scared.

You don’t know what to expect…

Your mind is swimming in doubt. How are you supposed to emotionally open up around strangers? Will you be able to stick with it until the end? What if you just can’t get unstuck?

There are countless excuses your mind will use to get in the way of making a decision.

But, what if the only thing standing between you and living the life you’ve only daydreamed about was 12 weekends?

And, what if the only thing keeping you from living the life you’ve always wanted was your commitment to being vulnerable, introspective and open?

Would you take the chance?

If you feel called to say yes, the time is now to move forward. This is your opportunity to achieve true, lasting change.

Put an End to Self-Limiting Patterns

What if you were given the master plan to achieve exponential growth without the fear of failure stopping you before you started?

Would you finally feel confident enough to make you a priority in your life?

A Year to Change Your Life outlines each step you need to take to achieve everlasting change.

Backstory

Augusta and David have been married for 35 years and have two daughters, both of whom are psychotherapists.

In 2008, Augusta was diagnosed with advanced-stage colon cancer. Without warning, life changed dramatically for her and her family. She underwent surgery and chemotherapy.

She and David began walking daily, never missing a day during chemo. Many lifestyle changes were made, and many lessons were learned. During the final months of her treatment, as an affirmation of and commitment to her healing, Augusta started the Saturday Morning Yoga class that celebrated its 10th-anniversary last year.

In 2009, Augusta and David decided to pursue their foundational and advanced yoga teacher training with Rolf Gates. In 2012, they created the first CALM (Creating Awareness – Living Mindfully) courses, opened the Center for CALM Living, and teamed up with Rolf Gates to offer yoga teacher training.

In 2016, the Kantras created and opened their training program for aspiring yoga teachers, the CALM Living School of Yoga, where they guide trainees through the transformational journey of yoga teacher training.

From 2017 through 2019, Augusta and David trained with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach through the University of California Berkeley to become Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teachers.

By 2020, the Center for CALM Living expanded and CALM Living Studio was built in to better accommodate the trainings, workshops, groups and retreats that are the very lifeblood of Augusta and David.

Augusta and David are not strangers to transformational life changes. Whether it’s in one of their already established programs, or the new A Year to Change Your Life program, Augusta and David stand ready to guide, support and encourage their participants to create their best lives possible.

Don’t miss the opportunity to harness the possibilities inside yourself!
